Product Process:
A V8 engine block model has been created using 3D design software and published online. We have scaled the model, added hollows inside it (to save resin), generated some supports and printed it.
Application:
A scale model such as this could be used in early prototyping of an engine to check clearances, fit etc, or to visualise CAD designs. This part could be included in an educational model of an internal combustion engine.
